Secret Santa
For rugby we decided to do a secret Santa. Secret Santa is gift giving event in which you draw a persons name from a hat and buy them a gift and don’t tell them who you’re buying for. It is a lot of fun, and I was very excited until I drew her name. She is not a mean or bad person, but she is the one person who everyone is puzzled by. She’s a little out of the box, and a little different. And, different isn’t bad, different is just hard to shop for. Generally I brag to be the best secret Santa ever, I’m afraid I may not live up to my standard. I have of course added all of the essential cute artistic add-ons to me gift but, the gift itself is it enough? Its basically a huge stocking filled with candy, and a picture frame ornament with her team photo on one side and a group shot of the team on the other. And, just for laughs, I got a shirt made that says, I support a hooker on it. Because she plays the position prop and props support hookers. I hope she likes it. I have also lined the stocking with sparkly tissue paper and wrapped the candy individually. Also I made a very cute label that I am attaching to the hook loop on the stocking. I made it from book board, and then painted with tiny silver snowflakes. On top of the snowflakes I placed a much larger and darker snowflake with her name on it. I will continue to make her stocking more elaborate, I hope she likes it.
